My research centers on the culture of public health, the production of scientific knowledge, networks of expertise, information sharing, and everyday lived experiences of epidemiologists, microbiologists, biomedical scientists, and medical practitioners.

My current research project centers on the global rise of allergies, interweaving our scientific, cultural, and historical understandings of allergy as a medical condition and lived experience.

My next research project will focus on the history and current scientific understanding of the immune system and immunology.
